Phase Overview

In this phase, Principals will understand how to effectively transition their schools into centers of wellness by exploring resources and initiating partnerships with the School Based Mental Health & Wellness program. They will conduct a needs analysis to identify gaps in their current support systems and strategize on garnering team buy-in for the implementation process. Additionally, they will connect with a coordinator to prepare for the arrival of a clinician, ensuring the necessary preparations are made for their integration into the school community.

Phase Goals/Objections

  1. Conduct a thorough needs analysis to identify deficiencies in current support systems and how they can be addressed

  2. Foster team buy-in by introducing the School Based Mental Health and Wellness program and its potential benefits to the school community

Once you receive the clinician's information, prepare for their arrival by ensuring that access details are readily available and identifying a suitable working space, while also developing a preliminary plan to effectively integrate the clinician into the school community.

    • Receive assigned clinician information and prepare for clinician

    • Prepare for Clinician’s arrival including 

    • Ensuring access information available 

    • Identifying working space for Clinician 

    • Setting preliminary plan for integrating Clinician into school community
