Phase Overview
In this training phase, Graduate Clinical Interns will continue integrating into the school culture and support the development of the school as a center of wellness. They will understand their role, participate in multidisciplinary meetings through the end of the school year, and collaborate with their task supervisor to reflect on their development and career path. They will also provide closing documentation and external referrals as needed.
Phase Goals/Objections
Continue integration into school culture and support development of school as a center of wellness
Navigate in full understanding of graduate clinical intern role and responsibilities in supporting development of school as a center of wellness
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings through end of school year
Collaborate with task supervisor and field instructor to reflect on personal and professional development, engaging in career visioning and determining next steps along career path
Engage in closing with clients, providing closing documentation and external referrals as needed
Closure and Documentation
Engage in honorable closing with students and document these interactions thoroughly. Learn to refer students to the appropriate level of service based on their needs and progress. This involves effective communication with the students and ensuring they receive the proper support and resources as required.

Registration and Application
Understand how to effectively facilitate workshops and provide presentations and psychoeducation. Learn to support students with de-escalation techniques and utilize creativity for multi-tiered interventions. This includes assisting with student registration in the County EHR system, outreach to families and community members, and participation in school activities and events.

• Register with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS): MSW II: Apply for Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) number
• MFT Trainees: Apply for Associate Marriage and Family Therapy (AMFT) number and submit clinical hours
• PPSC: Apply/Submit application to Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
Professional Development
Collaborate with your field instructor to complete the End-of-Year Evaluation and finalize your End-of-Year Post Assessment. Learn to schedule a meeting with the Career Pipeline coordinator to determine and plan the next steps in your career journey. This approach ensures a comprehensive review of your progress and prepares you for future professional development.

End-of-Year Activities
Attend end-of-year celebrations and understand how to actively participate and engage with students, staff, and families during these events. This involvement highlights your role in fostering a positive school environment and community connections.
