Phase Overview
In this training phase, clinicians will prioritize further integration into the school culture to aid in establishing the school as a center of wellness, while also deepening their understanding and application of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles. Through ongoing involvement in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing support for clients referred via the Universal Referral System until the end of the school year, clinicians will engage in closure processes, provide necessary documentation and external referrals, all while ensuring they meet supervision and consultation requirements aligned with their licensing status.
Phase Goals/Objections
Continue integration into school culture and develop school relationships as needed to support development of school as centers of wellness
Continue building understanding of DEIB and how to approach the work with these concepts as a framework
Participate in ongoing multidisciplinary meetingsShare understanding of role within specific school team
Continue to support clients referred through Universal Referral System through the end of the school year
Engage in closing with clients, providing closing documentation and external referrals as needed
Meet supervision/consultation requirements according to licensing status
Honorable Closing and Documentation
Participate in Honorable Closing professional development session to gain knowledge about conducting honorable closings. Engage clients in a respectful closure process that reflects a decrease in weekly encounters. Work collaboratively to develop an Interest List for the next school year.

Manage Calendars and Scheduling
Understand the importance of discussing and identifying time off and work dates for June and July to develop an effective work plan. Learn the necessity of completing the Human Resources Classified Management Non-Work Planner accurately and the importance of communication with the Coordinator to ensure proper coordination.

Role Development
Review the importance of expanding your understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and using these concepts as a framework for your work. Understand how to navigate feelings of discomfort through introspection and by upholding Trauma-Sensitive Educational Leadership (TSEL) practices. .

• Attend and collaborate in regional team meetings, SBMHW team meetings, professional development and training; supervision/consultation, and events within the school community
Engage in Supervision or Consultation
Meet the end of year licensing expectations based on licensure status. Associate Clinicians seeking licensure through the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) will ensure all documentation requirements are met including having all weekly log forms signed by Clinician II, and completing annual evaluations. Licensed Clinicians will continue attending ongoing clinical consultations.

For Associate Clinicians seeking licensure through the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS):
• Maintain weekly BBS logs
• Attend weekly group supervision
• Attend weekly individual supervision
• Complete in-state verification form with clinician II
• Ensure all weekly log forms are completed and signed by clinician II
• Review annual evaluation with clinician II signifying the end of the current supervisory term
For Licensed Clinicians:
Attend clinical consultation once per month (consultation offered twice per month)
